Medical Background

Dr. Lorena Aguirre Zambrano Velho studied Medicine at Londrina (UEL) and PUC – Campinas, specializing in Gynecology and Obstetrics. She completed her residency and master’s degree in Ob Gyn  at Unicamp, with an emphasis on Oncological Surgery. She has a second specialization in Radiology, for interventional treatments.

 

She holds the Title of Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics (TEGO), awarded by the Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR) and the Brazilian Society of Ultrasonography (SBUS). She was a professor and tutor in gynecology and obstetrics for fourth-year medical students at Unicamp.

After a period of normal practice, she realized that to treat the disease, especially cancer, is not enough to bring health. In other words, it is not enough to operate the breast if you do not remove the cause, the “cancer factory” out of the patient)… Since then, she has a holistic view of human health, Dr. Lorena Velho  is dedicated to promote, preserve, and restore health of individuals and communities.

As a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, Dr. Lorena Velho treats conditions such as ovarian cysts, breast nodules, breast and ovarian cancer, endometriosis, menopause, and more.

 

INTERVENTIONAL ULTRASOUND – RQE 71301

 

As a certified specialist, she performs treatments with regenerative substances by injections guides by ultrasound. This are  treatments for tendon injuries, knee osteoarthritis, hernias, and any organ that could have a lesion.

 

Currently, Dr. Lorena Velho is the Medical Director of Clínica Vida in Campinas and a surgeon at Maternidade de Campinas, São Luís, Samaritano, and Vera Cruz hospitals.

Beyond Medicine

Married to Dr. Paulo Velho, she has three children, three daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren.

After many years practicing conventional medicine, she recognized the need for a more integrative approach to health and expanded her studies in Regenerative and Orthomolecular  Medicine, also called Functional Mediciine, Natural Medicine, Regenerative Medicine;  Integrative and Quantum Health. Since then, she has never stopped studying.

She participates in humanitarian missions and has been a partner of Project CURE since its foundation, one of the world’s largest NGOs for the donation of medical and hospital equipment, connected for decades to Dr James W Jakson and Dr Douglas Jackson, his son and CEO.

As an international speaker, she teaches courses and lectures in various countries across Latin America, North America, and Australia. She also offers online mentorship programs for life transformation, available in individual or group sessions.

Inspired by her mother, Dr. Natalia Barnes, she has learned that the true purpose of medicine goes beyond treating diseases—it is about promoting, preserving, and restoring health.
